A sought-after trainer and speaker, Ms. Medina has presented at the National Conference on Coaching in Human Services at the University of California/Davis and for the State of Maryland’s Foster Parent Association.  She has designed and delivered statewide training programs on topics such as cultural competence, compassion fatigue, trauma, managing conflict, team building, coaching, emotional intelligence, communication and leadership skills.

A licensed clinical social worker, Ms. Medina holds certificates in coaching, facilitation skills, design learning, mediation, and trauma-informed care.  Additionally, she has vast training and experience in appreciative inquiry, crisis management, and suicide assessment and prevention.  She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Bucknell University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland.  

Ms. Medina has over 25 years of experience as a psychotherapist, EAP provider, Crisis Intervention Specialist, Executive Coach, Curriculum Developer and Trainer.
